As you guys might have already guessed from the title, I went shopping...again!
First, I stopped by Bugis to get a dress at $10 and accessories (3 for $5).
Then I went to Scape flea market!
Hohoho :D I've always wanted to visit Scape for its flea! :D

You can find accessories at $2 each, preloved at $4 per piece, and other pretty apparel at $5-25!
I saw many livejournal owners like thestylemafia, inthehighways, macharies and fashionhooks! :)
They are awesome, so do support them okay!

So...

p.s. I can't provide the actual value cos I don't really know how much money I brought and I didn't keep track of my spendings! :x

There are actually 10 over shopping bags here! Just that I consolidated them into bigger packagings! Haha my arms were really worn out by the time I got to Scape!

I'm thankful for my cerebrum in the brain that allows me to retain memories. During the times in class when my mind zones out, I have been looking back on my memories. I badly want to relive those happy, and sad, memories that I hold so dearly to my heart. It is these memories that tell me I've lived a fufilling life and I shouldn't regret anything.

A Victim of Our Education System

When you think of the word 'education', what image comes to your mind?

Notes/Worksheets/Textbooks ... Or a smiley?

As a 'victim' of our education system, I undeniably chose 'notes/worksheets/textbooks'. You have probably seen this sentence a million times, be it in newspapers, online journals or reading material.

Singapore's education system places too much emphasis on academic achievements...

I have seen this sentence repeating itself like what a child would do to practise incorrigible penmanship. But what change has been effected?

We are an elitist society. Various schemes such as the Gifted Education Programme are perceived as being 'biased' towards the academically talented. Having good grades in school is probably the one and only determinant of a scholarship or opportunities for better, higher education. What, then, is our ultimate goal of learning? Ask any student in a top school and he will say, "To get a good job". We have been educated since primary school, almost like we were doctrinated, that the process matters a whole lot more than the result. Now, victims of our education system have become so grades-centred that we only consider tangible results, such as getting a good job and earning good pay.

However, let's not point fingers at Singapore's youths. The blame has to be put on a few socio-economic factors as well. With emerging markets from China and India and other counterparts of Asia, Singapore has to continually step up our game. Youths have to do something to ensure they can get a high-paying job which will eventually reward them with a comfortable life. So, what do they do? It is a game of survival. Elimination of the average, and promotion of the elites. In this fiercely competitive society, students study hard, regarding the title of a university graduate as the 'title deed' to a reputable job.

Empathise with Singapore's youths, who will be future leaders of our nation. What must we do to secure a place in a job? You won't have to hesitate to answer this question. That is, get good grades! We, students, have to acquire the knowledge and skills to survive and compete in the global economy, because failure to us is like a death sentence. We are greatly pressurized by what the education system demands of us. Regulated assignments, tests and examinations, which come along with grades, are stifling students to the extent that many have committed suicide or plunged into depression. This shouldn't be the case. Even if pressure was necessary to serve as the driving force for students to work even harder, it shouldn't reach a point where students cannot manage what is demanded of them in school.

I write in response to “Environment to blame for lack of drive, risk-taking” by Chua Yini (Yahoo! Newsroom). Education Minister Dr Heng recently commented that "employers believe Singapore students lack drive and the willingness to try new things to succeed". I strongly disagree with the former. If students are said to lack motivation, where did the driving force from studying hard in school come from? Where did the driving force to constantly keep up in the education battle come from?

However, I confer with the second claim - Singapore students lack the willingness to try new things to succeed. In short, students are not creative (enough). Human ingenuity is needed and respected in our society. Sustaining economic growth, achieving peace and stability, improving infrastructure - all these boils down to creativity. What is the current situation in schools? Schools are stuffing students with complex information, students get overloaded, and creativity is hindered. This is known as the 'creativity crisis'. Yes, it is a crisis.

Then again, the debate of Singapore's students lacking drive and creativity is a generalized opinion. Generalizing is insufficient reason to make a well-supported inference. If a small group of students, say 3-5 students, are vegetarians, can you then say that the whole class are vegetarians? Likewise, on a much more massive scale, if a part of Singapore's students lack drive, can you say all the students in Singapore lack drive?

I shall end off this post with a question for schooling youths out there:
What is your goal of studying?

I just watched 1 hour of Spongebob Sqaurepants. (Yes, I know I'm childish but I cannot figure the appeal of this cartoon to a teenager like me) I shall share with my readers an interesting episode! ^^

To be honest, I was shocked when I realised a term used in a cartoon is actually real! "Cry Cry" by T-ara has been stuck in my mind, replaying itself like an old record ever since their first Music Bank comeback. So, I actually had an earworm! One reason that this occurs is perhaps the particular piece of music tends to have a repetitive rhythm. For my case, I developed the earworm only because I was addicted to the song.

So, that's the fact of the day! ;)

She is a true friend. She is someone who always had your back. Someone who will do anything for you if you need her. Someone who is creative and good and kind.

Happy Birthday, Singapore!

Today was National Day.

At 8.30pm my father, brother and I were out on the open space beside Lot One's Shoppers' Mall, anticipating the arrival of the military tanks. I was appalled by the number of people who came early just to take amazing shots of the tanks. It was a long wait, but it was worthwhile. Soon, tanks, jeeps, motorcycles and vans appeared from the traffic light. There were a few people in green armour stationed on the tanks. They looked serious, as if preparing for an upcoming battle. On the other hand, members of the civil defense were cheerfully waving back at the audience, seemingly enjoying their five seconds of fame.

There were many people there from all walks of life. There were not only people who lived in my neighbourhood. I saw many unfamiliar faces and guessed that they must have come all the way here to view the National Day celebrations here at this heartland. I was touched by the rapt support of us citizens. We were all gathered together on a beautiful night, enjoying performances by our local singer, Guo Meimei, and viewing the parade held in Padang. I looked around me and smiled. These people were my family. Although we never had shared the briefest of conversations, we belong to the same home. And this is where our hearts lie.

Followed by the arrival of the military tanks was the bursting of fireworks. Sparks of different coloured light shot up the night sky and burst into a beautiful image. I could not help but press on to my ears very tightly as the decibels of the fireworks were raised. I recalled my younger days when I used to hate fireworks. I even wailed once, having caught off-guard when the fireworks suddenly errupted into the air.

Now I understood the beauty of fireworks. It was noisy down here, but up there, it was beautiful. It was like watching a spark hope shoot up to the heavens and blossom into a thousand possibilities.

Firstly, I rebonded, again. For the second time. I don't think it will stay. So, what the heck.

Today I din't attend CCA. Apparently, I have something up, so I can't go. I know there is a colossal amount of homework awaiting me, but I simply do not have the mood to start on anything. This feeling sucks. I'm just too lazy, as ever. Besides, I don't even know what holiday homework we have. Oh dear, that sounds so unbelievable.

Would it hurt to start homework in December? .__.

By the way, I have to apologise for the missing affiliates in my links section. I want to keep my blog as neat as possible since I have removed my navigations. So I won't be accepting link requests for a long time to come. Sorry. :B I have also changed my site URL. Apparently, I grew tired of the old one, 'creambunny.co.nr'. It just didn't appeal to me as much as before.

Epic Tragedy

Why Epic? Why Tragedy? I don't know. I just feel upset with myself because of my irritating fever. It's like a stupid wasp coming during my exam period and leaving me when it gets tired. Whattheheck. D: Yesterday I went for CCA. Okay, I was sort of late because I was told we were only going to Bras Basar around 12pm. So I wanted to reach there around 11+ pm, instead of 8am when CCA commences. Gahh I'm a slacker. So I spent the entire morning at home searching for pretty clipart to stick on the walls of the NJRC booth. Yeah so I was done and then I called Jui Ping to ask for her opinions and to help me print. Then, BOMBSHELL. She told me they were already at the bus stop going to Bras Basar! I was like, ehmagawd. And to think Jui Ping didn't even call. LOL my handphone prepaid is pathetic. I'm getting a phone plan after EOYs anyway. Phew.

So Jui Ping (being as noble and kind, like she usually is?) offered to wait for me. So I ran out of the house like a retard. Yes, a retard with disheveled hair and a worried look. When I reached school I saw Jui Ping in Computer Lab 1 chatting on the phone. LOL. And she was drawing something on Flash. LAME MUCH? I was feeling giddy by the time I finally slumped into one of the chairs and caught my breath. Jui Ping had the im-gonna-kill-nicole look when she ended the call. LOL I was BUSTED. ><

Anyway we spent 3 hours drawing, chatting (and even singing?) at the same time. :D Quite fun though. I kept teasing Jui Ping about Pii Sign. Hahas xD I was too harsh when I said ... REJECTED.. She spanked me so hard on the back then I screamed. Like why wouldn't I? She's so strong! O_O

We realised we busted our Booth Design budget by 20+ bucks. This is serious. LOL. I had to pay my own money in order to clear this debt for Team Ti. Jui Ping gave 20 bucks. I gave 12. Anyway, I'm broke. Yeah sort of. D: After that we got bored and I was complaining because of an unbearable headache and giddiness. I was moaning and groaning. Hah, I know Jui Ping was kinda pissed about this. Then I started to feel really very very cold. So Jui Ping lent me her jacket. Which was a Giordano JUNIOR. It was freaking thin so it didn't really help.

I told Zhi Jie I needed to go home soon. Anyway there was not really much to do since Mei En and the others had not returned. Then guess what? I fainted on the MRT. LOL I squatted on the floor and shut my eyes. I felt nauseous. I don't know why either.

Came back. And ... FEVER. 38.8 deg Cel. All thanks to Comp Lab. LOL. So doomed. I have a bad sore throat and a flu. I can't talk properly now. BTWBTW. I have not even done one-quarter of my homework! That is damn pathetic.

Haii. Anyway NJRC's on Thursday! I want Best Booth Design! Team Titanium FTW! :D

what a long time

It has been a long time since I posted. Well, blame it on my homework, I guess. I have nothing much to post here to be honest with you. Did I ever tell you Biology is freaking hard? I nearly failed my class test last week! I am certain Chemistry was not as hard as this. The next module in Science is Physics. Gosh. I really wonder how I can put up with this. I am struggling in my Biology, even though I worked so hard, put in so much effort into my preparation. I haven't received my Mathematics Class Test results, though. That one I did not study much, because it is not a subject whereby you can mug and get an A for your effort. The expected consequence - STRESS. And another tonne of boredom.

Looks as if everything is just tests, tests and tests for me. I am already tired. Still I have to put up with this nonsense. I am facebooking and blogging at the same time. Pet Society has this new fishing pong at the bottom right corner of the pet house. (Actually it was a long time ago when it was just made.) I tried fishing umpteen times but still it turned out to be in vain. My friend is trying to help me with that now. So I bought many pears and apples (all the foods priced at 5 coins).

Layout

Stephanie has wonderful color usage throughout all her blog posts and webpages (under the navigations). Her text decorations are colorful and pretty. She would always highlight the important points to take note of in her blog entries as well. She has a good sense of originality as her webpage is very creative and I am sure she coded most of the layout herself. Her banner is simple but attractive and in fact, the cute fonts she use appeals to me a lot. The music she inputs into her blog is melodious and it always encourages me to continue staying on her webpage.

Arrangement

Stephanie arranges her affiliates very neatly. She makes use of tabulation to shorten the length of her affiliates page so that the reader need not scroll too long. The headers she use in her sidebar are well laid out as well. She uses navigations to sort her miscellaneous stuff so that her main page would not get messy.

Blog content

The way Stephanie writes in her blog entries are very interesting. She does not beat about the bush when it comes to recording her daily events. She uses simple and direct English which makes it easy for readers to understand. There is regular paragraphing and appropriate exclaimations. Her blog posts never fail to entertain whenever I visit her website. She inputs relevant and kawaii smilies/icons to make the content more colourful.

Portfolio

Stephanie's visitor page is something very original. The disclaimer she uses can ensure that her readers do read ALL the instructions before they use her works. The instructions she wrote were short and simple, just the way I like it! Her Adobe Photoshop CS3 tutorials were easy to understand and cut straight to the point.

In a nutshell

All in all, Stephanie's webpage is original and pretty. For goodness sake, I'm not lying here! There is neat arrangement and enriching content in her daily blog entries. A good budding webdesigner!

I changed my skin! Haha. Not as if you were blind.

I'm not sure why I changed. From pink to blue. I didn't really expect to change my blogskin to this baby-ish version. *sniggers* Look around my blog for updates here and there. I have started a portfolio navigation because I am being BUGGED with requests for my freaking erxing tagboard background. Seriously, you can find the tutorials here. From there you can make your own self-customised skin. But I will definitely give out my previous skins. (if i did not lose them) Check them out later!

I know I haven't been updating my blog that often. That's because I was busy with my new skin and I had some school project matters to settle. On top of that I still have CCA trainings in school. Well if you don't know, I am in Infocomm Club. Wahaha.

wow. back from my midyears and i'm flooded with comments in my tagboard. seriously i'm freaking out.

my exams were kinda... DREADFUL! even though i haven't received my results yet, i can predict they won't be good. well, no as good as last term bahs. maybe i was slacking too much.. my chemistry results are released. i really really feel upset. A2! i was like, wadde... i put most of my effort in my chemistry, because apparently, i seem to like that subject very much. i even woke up at 5 am that morning i was taking my paper just to revise my chemistry knowledge.. i'm sure i looked like a silly that day 'cuz i was freaking tired. i actually practised the same routine of waking up early during my History and Geog papers too!

well. my exams. those will be a fragment of the past from now onwards. i really don't care anymore. now. i'm rather pissed off by the overflow of tags at my blog. haii. do i have to reply all these? okayokay. as a form of respect, i shall! i have to apologise for the late replies because i was held up with school work. pai seh. =.=

Today I took my Geography paper. It was tough. And I didn't even bothered to memorise anything because I was freaking tired last night. I slacked for the entire afternoon by watching television, playing Pet Society and chatting on msn! I really regret because I realise I was too lazy. I panicked this morning before school because of my freakish Geog so i was frantically reading through all my Geog and trying to memorise the causes, impacts and blah blah.. of deforestation. I still had to memorise ALL the natural vegetation and know where they are situated?! What the heck. This is soo pressurizing. For goodness sake, I was perspiring after I had a refreshing bath and still perspiring when I was on the schoolbus!

I finally conclude that I hate HUMANTITIES! History was a failure.. It was a total horrendous pile of crap.. How am I supposed to memorise soo much about Empires and blah blah Hitler?! What weird subjects to study. I'm taking Triple Science next time. Whatever!

I am left with two papers to go actually. I will be taking my Maths and ICAS Science on Tuesday. And mind you, the ICAS Science is graded worh! *boo* which means it will be recorded in my GPA... Hahas, I'm sure to deteriorate from my previous GPA de.

Well... actually I was down with a fever on Tuesday.. 38.9 deg Cel! So, I did not take my Higher Chinese paper... So sadds. Anyway, I'm retaking it on Wednesday. Woots! Jiayou jiayou Nicole!! Must go muggg. haha, as if i'm so hardworkingg.. btw. I was playing Pet Society just now; I just started Facebook this February! Okay. I agree I am addicted, but I am currently trying my best to resist the temptation. However, I was playing with my friend just now.. And she thought Pet Society was an online game. Haha, I wish!

Just now, when I was playing that game, I saw my friend's pet POOP! I was like, ehmagawd - why must I be there to witness such er xing stuff? Okay. So, I told my friend on msn and she was like, HAHA! She spent time bathing my pet but neglected hers.. Awwz. Lemme tell you, just after I close the msn window, I saw her pet poop again! &, it pooped another time at another part of the room! Come awwn.

Recently, I'm playing the games in Facebook during my free time. Hahas! I played Word Challenge and How Big is Your Brain? which my friend introduced me to. hello peeps! today is the day after Christmas! i received more presents last night. first - a personalized packet full of stickers with my name on it. second - 4 more PlayStation 2 games for me! woots! i'm going to play them tonight... so, did you enjoy your Christmas yesterday? my auntie told me Orchard Road was full of tourists! The decorations were amazing too. aww, too bad I did not go, if not I could shop for more CLOTHES at Takashimaya yahh?

hohoho! today's Christmas Day! did you find any presents under your Christmas tree? hahas, just joking! i found out many bloggers were making all sorts of cute Christmas greetings banners. wow. there must be many presents going around, yah? well, i feel an itch to make a Christmas-themed skin, but i have no inspirations at all.

hey. guess what time did i wake up today? 10.45am! whaa, i was sleeping like a log manns. i think i had better train myself so i can wake up earlier next year! i have to wake up by 5.45am in a few days' time, cuz i'm taking the school bus. this morning i was like, bombarded with many text messages. all were christmas greetings! i forwarded all of them to my friends and family too. well, the messages were not chain letters, but i still sent laa.

hello peeps! aren't you happy? tomorrrow's Christmas Eve, which means Santa's coming to deliver all your presents! i received 2 Christmas presents already! both are from my dad, and they are 'New Moon' and 'Breaking Dawn'! the two books were neatly wrapped in exquisite gift-wrapping paper. cool manns! Now I have 3 of the saga books, all but 'Eclipse'. (i think they got sold out... never mind laa, since i don't really need it so urgently. but i hope i don't have to wait for NEXT CHRISTMAS!

however. i'm still vexed over with spammers at my tagboard. i detest them to the core laa. what's the use of spamming profanities? i don't bother to waste my time on these losers. it's just a matter of time that they give up spamming.

yey me! i can't believe i could catch Twilight on the movie premiere yesterday! Ehmagawd! The show was awesome! Stephanie Meyer is really good at writing novels cuz she painted a vivid picture in my mind. The movie was just like I had imagined! The last scene was exciting! There may be a sequel coming up... new moon. i'm soo going to watch that movie laa. i'm going to buy the other 3 sagas that i don't have tomorrow at Orchad Road. cool manns. can't wait to read cuz i heard many people already started. seriously, the movie is worth to watch!

and guess what? i received good news yesterday morning. I AM GOING TO STUDY IN RIVERVALLEY HIGH NEXT YEAR! i was like, jumping for joy when i recieved that text message. rivervalley is a really good school worhs. my sista said that it was the 5th in singapore. but i would prefer NANYANG, hahas. anw. i went to my new high school today to register and buy school uniforms and textbooks, etc. i was surprised that so little textbooks were needed. just two literacy and a dictionary for the subject ENGLISH! i think there's a reason why anyways. i roughly flipped through the science books... omigosh i nearly fainted worhs. the context looked so difficult to me manns!

then i had to buy my school uniform. and guess what, the queue was dang long! zzz. yeah, so my parents and i waited until it was my turn. the school uniform of rivervalley was soo cool! and we could wear ankle socks! so i better buy a new pair of school shoes to look nice in the socks... hmm.

when i got home and turned on my comp, i almost felt like killing that layout stealer. she's none other than Brainless Marshmellow! Made A New Skin

haiz. i don't really feel like posting now. i just made a new skin, but i'm not sure whether to post it on blogskins. cuz the skin is really like the one i am using for my blog. here's a sneak preview of it. click to enlarge!

on saturday i went to Bukit Batok ClubHouse with my dad and sista and bro. we had two games of bowling! it was my second time being at a bowling alley worh. the first round my dad scored the highest. and i was so dejected i asked him not back out the netx round. so in the end i won... i can't believe bowling is that FUN! but i'm merely a beginner laa, so i may be going to that place again next month! whee, so exicted!

then, my dad brought us to a spa. (also in bukit batok clubhouse) the ambience there was really good. my siblings and i went for the foot reflexology. i thought it would be fun at first but when the worker there massaged my foot i was nearly screaming because the pain was searing! luckily for me, the worker was very thoughtful and she lessened the pain for me. my sista and bro weren't like me. they were closing their eyes and enjoying! i was like, what the hell? the next time i'm coming i had better zip my mouth wor!

after dinner my dad brought us to LASERQUEST. it was dang fun. we wore vests and there were light sensors on each of them. we also had a gun each and in the game we had to use it to aim at our opponents. so we entered a big room with many barriers in it. we hid at different places and then suddenly the lights flickered off! so the shooting started. only then we realised that the drawings on the barries could glow! they looked like graffiti to me and they were plain scary.

it was a nice experience for us that day! :DD btw. i don't really feel like replying the tags in my posts so i shall type them in the tagboard itself! please refer to my tagboard for your replies. thanks.

woots! i have read twilight! now i'm moving on to new moon. can't wait. p.s. i had a sneak preview of the movie from a web address Miss Strawberry IceBlended gave me! thanks! the quality was not really good and i want to keep the suspense till 18th December! so i didn't watch the whole movie, only a few minutes of it... don't think i can catch the movie on the premiere day anyway...

i just watched Four Christmases recently. it was damn funny and i was the only child (except my sista) in that theatre! weird huh. the people behind me kept laughing and i almost gave up trying to focus on the show. hahas. we finished the popcorn waay before the show ended. and the female actor in the show was really short. wonder if she really is in real life?

hmm. not sure whether to watch BOLT. seems boring laa. a dog, a cat and a hamster.. hahas.

On Semi-hiatus

wow, it must be time for me to post now. i haven't posted in 4 days! i was busy reading my twilight book. it's really very interesting worh. i have read more than half of the book and every page is so exciting. this book is basically about the love story of Isabella Swan and Edward Cullen, they fall in love the moment they met in school. Edward finds Isabella interesting because he could not read her mind while he could read others'. Isabella finds out later on that Edward is actually a vampire! however she's not afraid to hang out with him and Edward was really surprised she's not afraid of him.

oops, I told you too much of the story. you should buy that book and start reading now! i'm too addicted i guess. i can't summarize this brilliant story, you'll find out after you have read.

anw. i was downloading many songs to my handphone just now and i had a brilliant idea. *smirks* i downloaded the songs from twilight to my handphone and later i'll be reading the book and listening to the song at the same time!

crap! my brother kept pestering me today to help him with his math revision. he's a real pain the neck let me tell you. i was using the computer and he grabbed me to his room... oh puh-leez. can this day get any worse? i was so disappointed in him laa.

anw, i will be reading my twilight book later on. i bought it so many weeks ago and now i read. cuz you see, i bought a whole load of books last Saturday including Winx Club magazines. (i know they're kinda childish...) lol, i still read just for fun laa. i'm going again on saturday to buy more and more!

after i read my twilight book, i shall watch the movie! omg, i'm soo excited. and i found out only recently on 98.7FM that Four Christmas was better than Twilight! wth, can't believe it. vampires should be more interesting than christmas (no offence!). my sis said we're going to watch Four Christmas too.

I RE-OPENED
I can't believe I am saying this, but I have re-opened my blog! Many people tagged at my tagboard to beg me to re-open. So, tada! The reason I have closed my blog earlier on is because I was tired of blogging, plus the fact so many people are ripping my layout. That is very immature, okay?!

Okay, enough with all that frustration. Rippers are really creeping me out these days. Two days later would be the release of my PSLE RESULTS! I am already so nervous and then this 'ripping' thing starts. I would like to thank all those people who were on my side, and believed in me. Well, if my PSLE results are bad, which means lesser than 260, I may not be able to even use the computer. At least I would be safe from any more frustration, yeahs? Hahas! Anyway, I have updated my ITEM page, but work is still in progress, I need to make more edits here and there, so I appreciate the long wait! However, I am turning down any cbox layouts requests. IT HAS BEEN QUITE A WHILE SINCE I POSTED :S
Wow! I can't believe I was that lazy to post during the past few weeks. LOL, I was busy decorating my new layout and guess what? My friends who viewed my blog said it looked similiar like the previous one. I spent a lot of effort de, okay?! Anyway, I am going to share my experiences I had yesterday and today.

Monday, 11 November

Our class had a legacy bazaar in school, which means we could sell our items or create game stalls to motivate more students to visit our stall. We were divided into two big groups. My group was not doing quite well actually. Our game was called 'Treasure Hunt'. After paying 50 cents, the students had to walk along the line with a ping pong ball balanced on the spoon he/she is holding. Then, when he/she stops, that person had to dig in the pail of sand in front of him/her and search for a piece of balloon. The prize given would be according to the colour of the balloon.

Our prizes were way cool! We gave away items worth more than 50 cents. We made a great loss but at least we enjoyed ourselves and had fun, right? We also had 'Henna' services. It seemed very popular! Many students were lining up and they looked excited. They had to pay $1 for that. And I think we made a great profit on that, because the henna cone itself only cost 50 cents or so! Hahas! I was kinda inspired, so I asked my friend to help me do a simple one. For free of course.

Tuesday, 12 November

What I enjoyed about today most was during our cooking lessons! It was the main thing that we did today, from 9.30am to 12nn. We could make 4 types of dishes. We could cook plain rice, various vegetables, chicken and soup! Yum yum! If I am not wrong, it was my first time using a knife to chop so many types of vegetables. My group members were saying, "Hey, it's my first time..." I handled the knife very carefully, 'cos I was afraid that the knife would chop off my fingers! Hahas! Just kidding. Then it was time to stir fry the raw chicken! I was so afraid to even touch the frying pan! When my partner left me for a while, the teacher 'forced' me to use the ladle to stir the chicken! I was so reluctant, but in the end, I did it. I managed to cook the chicken. And it was sooo delicious!

Woots! Finally I expressed my excitement for these two days! Now I shall upload some cool photos I took over the weekend. To add some colour to my blog!

SCHOOL'S ALMOST OUT!

I don't know what I am feeling right now. Glad because the school holidays are coming or sad because I would miss all my classmates and I canno play anymore card games with them. Boohoo. I should think on the brighter side, I would still keep in contact with them, right? And we could meet up for class parties, etc. Weird, but these few days I'm rather reluctant to post on my blog. I hope it's not my emo-ness... Anyway, I am planning to change my blog layout, again. Hahas. 'Cos there are many bloggers with the same layout as mine and some are taking inspirations from me. A bit too much... For some reason I'm currently addicted to Neopets. I love the game 'Key Quest'! Wonder if any of you are playing the same game as me... o.O

HSM3 Senior Year was great

HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 3 - SENIOR YEAR
Ehmagawd! High School Musical 3 was superb! I went with six girls and some other boys to the cinema to catch that movie. It was fantabulous. However, the storyline was a bit boring. They should improve on that, perhaps? At the start of the movie, I was sooo excited! Yarh, and my hand kept reaching out for the popcorn in front of me. I just can't stop... The finalle was awesome. They joined most of the songs from High School Musical 1 to 3 and then the songs were sang slowly. I liked all the scenes when Troy (Zac Efron) and Gabriella (Vanessa Hudgens) were together doing the LAST WALTZ! Woots.

BISTRO DELIFRANCE HAS A PROBLEM

I went to Bistro Delifrance for my dinner. When I entered I was completely stunned. The whole restaurant was creepy because of the absence of the customers! What was the problem? For some reason I felt unwelcomed in that restaurant. The food over there is not really bad... So, what was the problem? Later on I ordered so much food until I can't finish! Hehe. In the end my father had to finish the food for me. Ooops. After that I felt I put on a little weight. Too much food, perhaps? I still remember grabbing all the food in the middle of the table so my sister would not get to eat them.

Oh yeah, I have decided to add another section in my ITEM page under 'Special Codes'. See the marquee movement under my 'REWIND' section in my sidebar? Yeah, I will be giving out that code due to Qing's request. So there you go!

Everything's the Same

JUST AN ORDINARY DAY

I am posting late at night because I was too lazy this afternoon to post anything. This morning, there was dance practice in the school hall. It was quite fun but the boys seriously can't dance! When asked to stand and dance, they just dilly dally move their arms and legs. Hahas, they look hilarious! I kept laughing but Jocelyn who was sitting behind me, was like, HUH?! Haiz, forget it. We learnt new dance steps and they weren't hard at all. Phew! When it was the girls' turn to dance, it was DISASTROUS! Firstly, the person in front of me forgot the steps. I already knew the dance steps, lols. So I saw everyone doing different movements so I freaked out. Okay, then every girl behind me also did the same wrong movement... It was embarrassing!

Vanessa, Jocelyn, Ren Min, Jia Yi and I played this game called YADA! It was really really fun! We could not stop laughing and our form teacher was staring at us. overeacting!~ Oops! My favourite show start liaos! Gotta watch THE PERFECT CUT. So, the below are my awards for the day! Thanks you all! I appreciate all the effort you put into these banners.

I RECOVERED FROM MY EMO STATUS. :D

Haiz. Again, I made a new blogskin, portfolio-themed. I started from 1pm when I reached home and only finished 10 minutes ago! Luckily, I could submit my skin to Blogskins.com without difficulty. Phew! This morning I went to Little India for a heritage tour. Sounds boring, eh? I agree with you! It was freaking boring! There were many weird smells and I was turning pale. Our teacher warned us not to wrinkle our noses but I totally ignored! Seriously, they had to do something about the smell. Well, only at the some of the shops... I must admit when I passed some shops, there were fragrant smells. On the bus back, I was completely engrossed in listening to my 'wallet'! Hahas. I put my handphone into it so my teacher won't know!

Before I forget, I am opening a new section in my ITEM page entitled 'Tutorial'. I will teach you how to enter various Japanese websites. However, I need your opinions on this. I don't think many people would credit me. Hello peeps. I used the time in the afternoon to make only a blogskin. That was about five hours or so, I think. And worse still, Blogskins.com had some difficulty submitting my skin. So, I kept re-typing for FOUR times. I almost exploded. After dinner, I went to the sofa and fell asleep. (within two seconds) When I woke up, I realised I did not switch off my computer and they were three classmates bugging me on MSN. Gahh... I'm beat - dead beat. I shouldn't have done the skin.

IPW Today was- urgh!

URGH!

IPW was such a waste of time! You see, we were supposed to do a short MTV with motion capture and there was a rule we must create it with a National Day song. My team chose the song 'Reach Out For The Skies' and I thought it was the best, yeah? When we did the filming today, I seriously thought my team was gonna flop.

At the first scene, two boys in my team were quarelling and one of them got injured! He was on the brink of tears, well, maybe he was crying. So he ran away to calm himself down. Such a crybaby! Bleah. Then, my team had many disputes and the director was raising her voice. Oooh. It was hard on her... Hahas, I was only the calefare so I only appeared in some of the scenes. Woots. At the last scene, we made ourselves look dumb in front of three cameras. Boo... We just swayed with the music... that's all. Not forgetting some minor movements. Lols, scared during editing that time make myself look bad!

However, when I reached back home I was so surprised. My super lame blog got me a SOTM 1st prize! ZOMG! Okay, this is my first time. I'm not a famous let alone professional blogger just like Fang Min. I was so shocked when I saw my award. I almost fainted. Thanks so much Jacquiline! And I was very motivated to make another blogskin.

I'M STILL LIVING LIFE AFTER PSLE!

Yeah, I am a PSLE student and I am still living life. (Not sure whether I can continue playing the com puter when my results are out!) Lols, these few days I seem crazy about messenger and I also downloaded a brand new skin from MSN Plus. It is the "Me to You" skin. The bears are so cute, however the colour combinaton is 'bleah'. This morning I was a bit emo, maybe because I was asked to teach my brother to prepare him for SA2.

I think I was the last person in the house to fall asleep. Guess what time did I wake up this morning? I woke up at 12nn! Ehmagawd! I was sleeping like a log and I totally ignored those pathetic people trying to wake me up. My father called me a PIG! So, I did not have time to eat my breakfast and I ate brunch that afternoon. Peer Tutoring was funny

For today I did not visit my friends' houses. Guess I was too tired bah. Last night I stayed up late to chat with Fang Min. Hehe. This morning during Peer Tutoring, Jocelyn and I were laughing non-stop. As usual, both of my tutees were not present so I helped Jocelyn teach her tutee, Ashraf. He was only sitting about 30 cm away from Jocelyn and he had hearing problems! When Jocelyn said "mulitples", he heard it as "mulples". He shot us an innocent look and annoyingly said, "Huh? What mulples?". Jocelyn and I started guffawing and then Ashraf said again, "Huh? Why are you laughing? What is mulples? WHAT IS MULPLES?!" He said again and I rolled my eyes. Lol.

Ashraf made many funny mistakes too. On one page he could only get 1 out of 5 questions correct! Jocelyn wanted to 'vomit blood', haha. After that, we went through a bar graph question. Jocelyn hastilly grabbed a ruler from the table and 'by accident' she scratched my finger. Awww! So painful worh. Best part is, she still doesn't believe that she caused the cut! My friend, Manika, was walking by and she offered a plaster. Thanks! Hehe. See the photo of my poor poor finger:

Later on, the Peer Tutoring Programme was over and we went home. When I was in the lift of my block, the key which I was holding very tightly in my hand suddenly slipped off my hand! I was so shocked and my eyeballs almost dropped out of their sockets. (Literally) I rushed back home and reported the matter to my mother. She told me she needed some time to think over the matter. A minute later, the news was spread throughout my whole house! Thanks to my big mouth! Then my mother called back to inform me that the people from the Town Council would be helping me to retrieve the key. Whoa! A big relief!

At 2pm, I went down my block to the lift lobby. (With my maid, of course.) The two men in uniform asked me to fill up a form while they attemped to retrieve my key. I craned my neck over to see what was happening. One of the men took (a weapon) and then the lift jerked up a little. Suddenly I was staring at the underground of the lift! My first time worh! We got back the stupid key and left, (oops, I forgot to thank them!) *Sigh*

Vanessa's house was fun!

This time I visited Vanessa's house. It was fun, at least way better than my house. Jocelyn and I came early (well, 2 minutes before the starting time). And our dear friend Jia Yi came the latest. So we BOOH-ed her at the lift. Haha, we got Jia Yi and her sister jumping out of their skins! Her sister kept tugging at Jia Yi's shirt and murmuring. Dunno what the heck she was talking about...

After that we played ball with Vanessa's neighbour, Hui Min! So fun worhs. Later on the ball got wet as it rolled into a little drain below the stairs. We went down to play a few minutes later and then the wind got really strong! We played some weirdo games Vanessa suggested. We got really dizzy... Lols, that was enough! We scurried to the lift lobby to get back home. Vanessa, Hui Min, Jocelyn and I wanted to trick Jia Yi so we tried to hide from her. However Jocelyn got lost so she accompanied Jia Yi up the lift. We sighed. Okay, now for the extreme part, when we got on the stupid lift, we got stuck for a while and the lift was shaking (a bit vibrantly)! LOL, serves us right from hiding from Jia Yi!

We got up via the stairs and I couldn't clamber up properly because of my shoes. Hehe. We were panting furiously when we arrived at the fifth floor. Whoo! I live on the fourth floor and it was the first time I climbed so many flights of stairs! Suddenly, Jocelyn and Jia Yi appeared in front of us and BOOH-ed us. (Lols, it was already OUTDATED!)

Ooh! Now it was Picnic time! Vanessa's mother laid the mat on the floor and we munched on the yummy food. It was delicious! I strongly suggest the chicken should be sold in our school's canteen. So, we have discounts? Hehe. Then it was 5.30pm. By then, Hui Min already went back home to bathe and eat dinner. We played Twister and Uno Stacko. Twister was a total mess! We got ourselves in funny positions. Uno Stacko was way enjoyable. I took many pictures with my beloved♥ handphone.

Tata for now! I have been typing for so long! Grr.

I want to drop dead, no, seriously!! My friends came to my house for another round of IPW discussion today. My brother was dang irritating! He sat in front of my computer screen and broke gas while my friends were discussing. I go slap him arh! Our discussion was a total flop. We did not accompish anything at all, but a few scenes of the storyboard. The rest of the time we spent was making awkward faces at my brother, who was ranting and raving upon knowing we went down to play ball WITHOUT HIM!

What the heck? He is such a pain in the neck... While my sister... *shaking head* I really don't want to ~~talk~~ type about her.

Later on after dinner, I fell into a long slumber. Zzzzz.

Monkey Game

Today I went to Jia Yi's house for IPW discussion. Well, I wouldn't really call it a 'discussion'. We kept playing games and we explored the little place. Okay, it was really fun. The ball we used was a beach ball. It was hard to hold it firmly in our hands so it kept slipping. LOL! Everyone was SO eager. I was catching the ball and my friend was CRAZY about getting the ball too. Oh puh-leez! In the end we finished our IPW storyboarding. What a day...

When I got home, I was dead beat! I almost dozed off while munching on dinner. That's bad, FYI. And I kept talking about Cream Bunnies today during discussion. Everyone was like, 'HUH?!'. Yah, okay okay, I got the point.

Boring day in school

Lols, another boring day. Dunno what the heck to say. It's so lame doing nothing at all in school. We just kept playing card games and I played hand games with my friends. Isn't this childish? We were screaming! But still, we enjoyed ourselves. Heyhey, PSLE's over. I have no idea on what I should do! I am just blogging and playing Neopets.com. (I know it's a lame game ) with my other friends.

Let me tell you something funny. Vanessa and I were playing Neopets. I was on a quest so I begged her to help me check the shop wizard. Then she bought one of the three items. I was so happy but when I got back to the quest page, I realised I was already outta time! Vanessa was MAD!

Finally a new skin!

Yipee! I am so glad. I have just created a new skin for my site. Also I have chosen a new web domain (CO.NR) for my site. Now I am considering whether I should post my previous blogskin on blogskins.com. Yeah, I know it's ugly but I would like to share my skin as well. PSLE (Please Stop Learning Everything) is over now and I decided to go shopping yesterday!

HAHA! I bought so many new clothes at Takashimaya. Hope that wouldn't cost a hole in my parents' pockets! I can't believe I bought so many new stuffs. Still dunno what to wear for Graduation Nite!!

For now, I can join any contests. SO please please invite me to join your contest. I may not join some contests however. My blog is not dead now, hehe. Oh yeah, and before I forget, ALL tags would be replied in my posts. ^^
